Russell Cavill

Russell is 34 and is married to Wendy. They have three children Jaime, Jacob & Ashleigh. Russell grew up on a dairy farm located in the Goulburn Valley of Victoria. After leaving school Russell worked as a jackeroo on a wool growing property in the Gippsland area of Victoria, before returning to the Goulburn Valley to take up a dairy farm apprenticeship on a neighbouring property.

After the completion of the apprenticeship Russell left the dairy industry and started as a stud cattle overseer on the well known Hazeldean Merino & Angus stud based at Cooma in NSW. Russell spent ten years with Hazeldean and held several positions with the company including Assistant Manager - Kunanadgee, Manager - Pinewood & Humula Station, Financial Controller - Hazeldean Group and General Manager Monaro Operations.

Russell is currently studying his Bachelor of Business - Accounting and hopes to finish this before he retires! Russell also holds a Certificate IV in Accounting and was accepted into the RABO bank Executive development program for 2006/7.
